“Our collectors came out in force the last time we did this,” said John Block, Park West’s Executive Vice President and one of the auctioneers for this coming weekend’s auctions. “I have been incredibly touched by their generosity, and I am so happy to continue raising funds for such an important cause. As a global community, we cannot forget what is happening in Ukraine right now, and we’re proud to support the people of Ukraine.”

Online art auctions will once again feature a wide variety of classic and contemporary artists, many of whom have personal ties to Ukraine and Eastern Europe.

The weekend’s featured artists include two Ukrainian-American artists—Anatole Krasnyansky is born in Kyiv and the end Igor Medvedev came from Kharkov — and two artists from Romania — the former child prodigy Alexandra Nechita and the famous abstract artist András Markós.

Some of the other artists featured this weekend are New York art superstar Mark Kostabi (from an Estonian family), Yaakov Agam, forest autumnand James Colman. The online event will also feature a special collection of prints by Dutch art world legend and master Rembrandt van Rijn.

Anyone can attend next weekend’s live auction – just fill in Park West’s an online booking form and information to register for the event will be provided:

West Park Gallery will donate proceeds from sold artworks that are paid in full at the end of the online auction weekend 4/21-4/24. The donation made by West Park Gallery will not offer tax benefits to collectors.
