This Week in High School Sports: 12/10/22

This week’s edition highlights the inaugural champions of the 2022-23 Finals – women’s tennis Negaunee and Iron Mountain, presents game balls to the stars of men’s soccer, men’s tennis and soccer; explains how penalties are assessed on overtime extra points and tells the IX title story of Rockford graduate gymnastics champion Anna Tracey.

The 5-minute program each week includes reports from MHSAA.com or network affiliates, as well as “Be the Referee”, a 60-second look at the art of refereeing.
